The town of Onda was the setting this Saturday for the tenth edition of the Unbroken Race. The event, which gathered over 300 athletes from different parts of Spain, has established itself as one of the benchmark events on the national obstacle racing calendar.
The event transformed the municipality into a meeting point for endurance sports. Participants tackled a course designed to test their strength, technique, and physical capacity in a natural environment.
The Councilor for Sports of Onda, José Vicente Iserte, positively assessed the event's development. He highlighted the race's impact on promoting sports tourism and local economic dynamism, underscoring the municipality's ability to host national-level competitions.
This year, the Unbroken Race offered two categories. The 10KM Strong Race, aimed at more experienced runners, featured over 35 obstacles on a demanding course focused on endurance and personal achievement.
Meanwhile, the 5KM Hike Race provided a more accessible alternative, with over 20 obstacles and a more recreational focus, designed for beginners in this type of event.
With this tenth edition, Onda reinforces its position as a regular host of high-impact sporting events and consolidates the Unbroken Race as a prominent fixture in Spain's obstacle racing circuit.
