Nules City Council is carrying out various conditioning tasks on its coastline to ensure that the beaches are ready for the start of the summer season on June 20th.

The work focuses on repairing damage caused by recent storms, including the addition of sediment and the repair of walkways. The council has allocated more than 30,000 euros for the purchase of materials necessary for these interventions, which are considered essential for the recovery of the coast.
The actions are being carried out in strategic points such as Les Marines beach, where the accessible walkway is being repaired, as well as in the la Gola area and Bovalar beach. At the same time, the Provincial Coastal Service is working on the repair of the two cells located on Illes Columbretes Avenue.

"Some of these interventions are emergency measures to recover what the Harry storm took away."

The municipal government has indicated that the lifeguard and rescue service will be operational starting June 20th. However, the council has taken the opportunity to demand a comprehensive regeneration of the coastal areas that are still pending action by the state administration.
