A motorcyclist was injured this Sunday after suffering an accident on the CV-20 road, at kilometer 27.5, within the municipality of Espadilla. According to data from the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT), the alert was registered at 10:50 AM, and the incident occurred in the direction of traffic flow, heading towards Onda. It is noteworthy that this is a road frequently used by motorcyclists, especially on Sunday mornings.
Health services were dispatched to the scene, where they attended to the injured motorcyclist and subsequently transferred him to the General Hospital of Castellón.
This accident is in addition to two other incidents recorded on Sunday morning in the province. In Cabanes, a cyclist was also evacuated to the General Hospital of Castellón after colliding with a car on the CV-146. Furthermore, a car hit a deer on the CV-10, within the municipality of les Coves de Vinromà.
In total, Castellón's roads have already registered three accidents this Sunday morning. These incidents are added to two others that occurred on Saturday: one last night, when a vehicle with two occupants fell into the river from the camí Vora Riu, between Vila-real and Burriana, and the accident registered on Saturday morning on the N-340, near Vila-real, where two people were injured after their car went off the road.
