Villarreal CF secured a one-all draw in their visit to Mallorca at Son Moix, in a match where goalkeeper Arnau Tenas was the standout player for the 'Yellow Submarine'.

The match, corresponding to matchday 35 of LaLiga EA Sports, started at a calm pace, with few clear chances for both teams. However, after half an hour of play, Villarreal took the lead thanks to a penalty goal converted by Ayoze.
Just before halftime, in injury time, an error by goalkeeper Arnau Tenas in catching an aerial ball was capitalized on by Vedat Muriqi to equalize, a scoreline that remained until the end of the first half.

The match unfolded without further significant action in the penalty areas until, in the 80th minute, the protagonists of the last chance met again.

In the second half, Villarreal ceded ball control to Mallorca and tried to create danger on the counter-attack, but without success. For their part, the home team, despite having more possession, was not overly incisive in attack.
Despite the error in the equalizer, Arnau Tenas had a great second half, with several meritorious saves that prevented Mallorca from taking the lead, including a crucial stop from a Muriqi shot and another from a direct free-kick in the final minutes.
