This culinary initiative, which will run until June 14, offers a tapa and a drink for a single price of 5 euros. The official presentation of the event was held in the Jardines de la Regenta, where participating venues showcased their creations to municipal representatives, local associations, and the attending public.
The Tapas Route carries the quality seal of the Ruta del Sabor of the Diputación de Castellón. Residents and visitors can tour the participating establishments, stamp their credentials, and vote for the best tapa of this edition. Prizes totaling 700 euros will be raffled among all participants.
“"The care and creativity that our restaurateurs have put into each of their tapas is admirable. This route is not only a feast for the palate of our neighbors and visitors, but also another tool to boost the local economy and deseasonalize tourism, as well as another opportunity to give visibility to commerce and position Burriana as a gastronomic benchmark."
The proposal seeks to strengthen Burriana's gastronomic appeal and energize local hospitality activity for a month. The Tourism department highlights that the route allows for the discovery of the talent, innovation, and local products that are part of the municipality's culinary offerings.
The 21 venues participating in this edition are: Trinquet GastroBar, Restaurante D’Maria, Nōmada Casa Playa, L’Olivero, Entre Mossets, Salva Wings, Popa, Bar Restaurante Jaime I, Gastro Bar Ca la Rosa, El Casino, Cafetería Charlotte, Bonkfe, La Pata Coja, Ultramarinos Carmencin, Coppelia Bonica, Al Natural, Comboi Grill, Restaurante Náutico Burriana, Nonnas, Asador Mayjo, and Bomboras’s.
