Burriana City Council has decided to extend the validity of the II Personnel Equality Plan until June 2027, as agreed in the Interior Information Commission.

This measure, which will be ratified in the next extraordinary plenary session, aims to adapt municipal management to the Basic Statute of Public Employees. Current regulations require administrations to have an equality plan at the beginning of each term, so the council has opted for this extension to avoid any regulatory gap until the new corporation is formed.
The government team has pointed out that the actions included in the current document remain fundamental to guarantee effective equality between women and men in the workplace. The goal is to maintain the strategies that are already working and serve as a management benchmark for the rest of society.

"It is fundamental that the public administration be an example of justice and equity, and with this measure, we guarantee that the strategies and objectives that are already working remain in force until the next term begins."
