This budget allocation, amounting to 60,541.92 euros, aims to foster agricultural employment among the local population. Hires will be made during the months of July, August, and September, with selected individuals performing tasks such as path clearing, ravine and river brush removal, and other municipal natural environment maintenance activities.
“"This investment allows us to continue generating employment opportunities for people in the municipality, while also acting preventively on our natural environment, improving paths and rural areas before periods of heavy rainfall."
The municipal leadership emphasized that the maintenance of ravines and paths not only contributes to landscape conservation but is also key to ensuring safety and preventing potential problems arising from vegetation accumulation.
Personnel selection is scheduled for next May. It will be carried out by a committee composed of council officials and union representatives, in accordance with the official scoring system provided by the SEPE. Through this initiative, the council reaffirms its commitment to creating temporary employment and to the protection and improvement of Betxí's natural environment.
