The Onda City Council continues to advance the construction of the new Sambori Nursery School, a project that has already completed its structural phase and is now tackling interior installations and finishing work. This initiative will provide the city with a renovated center for the educational care of children aged 0 to 3 years.
The Mayor of Onda, Carmina Ballester, visited the construction site to check the progress of a project considered strategic for the municipality's families. Ballester highlighted that the new Sambori "is already a visible reality, and each step brings us closer to the modern, safe, and adapted center that Onda's families deserve".
According to the council, the building's structure is now completely finished. Work on the roof, exterior enclosures, and other construction elements has also been completed, allowing for a clear view of the future educational center's final appearance.
Currently, the project focuses on the execution of electrical, plumbing, and air conditioning installations, as well as the interior adaptation of the various rooms. In parallel, work on interior partition walls and finishes is progressing, already making the final layout of the building visible.
The new Sambori is being built on the same plot located on Maestro Giner street and will feature nine classrooms, a dining area, multipurpose spaces, adapted playgrounds, and garden areas. The design emphasizes a single floor with accessible, bright spaces directly connected to the outdoors.
The new educational infrastructure has an investment exceeding 2.7 million euros, financed by the Generalitat Valenciana, as part of the municipal strategy to improve the city's educational facilities. Ballester emphasized that education and child welfare remain a priority for the City Council, reflecting its commitment to enhancing public services.
While construction continues, students of the Sambori Nursery School are carrying out their classes in the provisional facilities set up in 8 de Marzo square, where classes are proceeding normally.
