The Diputación de Castellón has organized the presentation event for the two La Vuelta stages that will take place in the province. The sixth stage, starting in Alcossebre and finishing in the city of Castellón, will cover 176 kilometers and include notable climbs such as Puerto de La Serratella, Coll de la Bandereta, Alto del Desierto de las Palmas, and Puerto El Bartolo, which will feature approximately three and a half kilometers of dirt road.

The seventh stage will begin in Vall d’Alba and conclude in Valdelinares, in the province of Aragón. Before leaving Castellón lands, cyclists will face points like Puerto El Remolcador and Alto de Zucaina. The president of the Diputación, Marta Barrachina, has emphasized that these stages represent a commitment to using sport as a driver for promotion and development for Castellón.

La Vuelta a España generates a significant economic impact, with a caravan of approximately 3,000 people and daily expenses of 250,000 euros in accommodation and catering. These figures highlight the event's role as an economic engine, with immediate benefits from consumption and hotel occupancy, and long-term projection nationally and internationally.
