A cyclist has suffered serious injuries after colliding with a car on the CV-146 road, passing through the municipality of Cabanes. The incident was reported at 9:21 AM, according to the General Directorate of Traffic, and affected the increasing direction of the road, heading towards Cabanes.
Initial reports suggest that the cyclist may have collided with the car, for reasons yet unknown. Health services quickly arrived at the scene, attended to the injured cyclist, and transferred him by ambulance to the General Hospital of Castellón. The cyclist suffered multiple injuries as a result of the impact.
This incident is part of a Sunday marked by several accidents on the roads of the province of Castellón. In addition to the accident in Cabanes, other incidents included a deer being hit by a car in les Coves de Vinromà, a vehicle falling into the river between Vila-real and Burriana, and another accident on the N-340 in Vila-real.
