The town of Benicàssim is gearing up for its night 10K this Saturday, June 13th, with participation already exceeding 1,800 runners, solidifying its status as a sporting benchmark.

The countdown has begun for one of the most anticipated sporting events of early summer. Benicàssim will celebrate a new edition of its night 10K this Saturday, June 13th, a race that will once again fill the town's streets with sport, a festive atmosphere, and hundreds of running enthusiasts from various parts of the Valencian Community and other provinces.
The organization has already surpassed 1,800 registered participants, a figure that could still grow in the final hours before the event, confirming the appeal of a race that is establishing itself as a major reference in the province's popular calendar.
The start and finish lines will be located on Ferrandis Salvador avenue, near the Habanero restaurant and close to the Torreón. Runners will set off at 9:00 PM to tackle a 10-kilometer urban circuit characterized by its speed and a practically flat profile.
The route will pass through some of Benicàssim's main roads, including Ferrandis Salvador avenue itself, Camí la Ratlla, Doctor Fleming, Traiguera, Benlloch, Enric Valor, Florida, and Senia Sevilla, before returning to the promenade to complete the final meters and cross the finish line by the sea.
One of the main attractions of the race is precisely its course. The absence of significant elevation changes and the width of much of the route make the race an ideal opportunity for both those seeking to improve their personal best and for popular runners who wish to enjoy a different experience at night.
The combination of the coastal setting, milder night temperatures, and the atmosphere generated by thousands of people in the streets further contributes to making the event a true celebration of popular athletics.
The organization has also planned various services to facilitate runners' participation. Among these, showers will be available at the municipal pavilion, remaining open until 11:30 PM for athletes after the race.
With participation aiming for record numbers and a course designed for running enjoyment along the Mediterranean, Benicàssim is preparing to experience one of the most crowded sporting nights of the year this Saturday.
