The town of Benicàssim has hosted the XVIII Music Schools Gathering 2026, an initiative that brought together 12 bands from various municipalities in the Plana Alta region.

This event, part of the regional activities campaign, aims to foster coexistence, collaborative learning, and the promotion of music among young people. The gathering has established itself as a key event in the educational and cultural sphere of the region.

The Unión Musical Santa Cecilia de Benicàssim served as the host for this edition. Participating bands came from municipalities such as Vilafamés, Vall d'Alba, Sant Joan de Moró, Orpesa, Les Coves de Vinromà, Benlloch, Castelló and Grau de Castelló, Borriol, and Torreblanca, reflecting the rich musical diversity of the area.
