Benicàssim launches the eighth edition of Benicàssim Activa, an entrepreneurship support program that this year stands out for its strong female leadership, with five out of six selected projects promoted by women.

The Benicàssim City Council has launched a new edition of Benicàssim Activa, the municipal program supporting entrepreneurship, now in its eighth year, establishing itself as a key platform for local talent. This call for projects is marked by strong female leadership, with five out of the six selected projects being promoted or co-led by women entrepreneurs.
The mayor of Benicàssim, Susana Marqués, emphasized that “the entrepreneurial talent in our city continues to grow and evolve, and in this edition, we also see how female leadership is taking a key role. Fostering and supporting local entrepreneurs not only boosts the economy but also builds a more innovative, inclusive municipality with greater opportunities for everyone”.
For his part, the councilor for Entrepreneurship, Carlos Martínez, underlined that “Benicàssim Activa continues to be a space where ideas are transformed into viable projects, generating employment and added value. Our goal is to accompany entrepreneurs throughout the entire process, providing them with tools, training, and specialized advice”.
Throughout its editions, Benicàssim Activa has already supported over 40 business projects, consolidating a diverse and dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystem in the municipality.
This edition's selected projects cover strategic sectors such as health, technology, creativity, experiential tourism, and family services:
