Almassora concludes its patron saint festivities in honor of Santa Quitèria this Sunday with the traditional Children's Day, an event that gathered dozens of children and families at the municipal swimming pool parking lot.

The day offered a multitude of games, water activities, and entertainment proposals. From early morning, the venue saw a large influx of attendees, being one of the most anticipated events for the youngest within the festive program. Those registered also enjoyed lunch after prior registration.
Sports took center stage with a pilota valenciana match scheduled for this afternoon at the Antoniet d’Almassora trinquet. Later, at 8:00 PM, plaza Pere Cornell will host the show Alegría, followed by a fireworks display on the esplanade of the old festival grounds.
The Councilor for Festivities, Arturo Soler, gave a "very positive" assessment of the festivities, stating they "have once again demonstrated Almassora's great capacity for participation." He noted, "We have enjoyed a very complete program, with nearly 150 events for all audiences, and a massive response from residents and visitors."
Soler also expressed gratitude for "the work and involvement of the Local Festival Board, groups, associations, municipal services, security forces, and all the people who made the smooth running of the festivities possible." The councilor recalled that the festival's opening speech, postponed due to rain, will finally be held on Saturday, May 30th, while the traditional Tornà de Santa Quitèria will take place on Sunday, June 7th.
