Health workers from the former concessionary health services of Dénia, Torrevieja, La Ribera, and Manises will gather on June 9th in front of the Palau de la Generalitat to demand solutions.

Company committees representing staff from hospitals affected by health service reversions have agreed to a protest to express their discontent to the Valencian regional government. The demonstration, under the slogan "After the reversions, we want solutions," will take place on June 9th in Valencia.
The primary demand of the health workers centers on the lack of tangible progress in the process of making staff who worked under former concessionaires permanent public employees. In the case of Dénia Hospital, previously managed by Marina Salud, the reversion occurred two years ago, and there have been few significant developments. The last meeting with the Ministry of Health, held in February, yielded no clear conclusions.
Furthermore, the mobilization responds to the Ministry of Health's failure to uphold its promise to continue negotiating respective labor agreements. This commitment had been signed by the regional administration with the committees of the four affected hospital centers last year.
The Company Committees believe that "it is no longer possible to prolong a state of paralysis that results in discrimination, breaches of contract, grievances, deception, and the departure of experienced professionals from the affected departments." This protest is the first agreed-upon pressure measure, and further actions are not ruled out for future dates.
