Dénia has hosted a new edition of the Trobades d'Escola Valenciana, bringing together thousands of people for workshops and activities, reaffirming the commitment to Valencian education and public schooling.

The event, which was postponed by one day due to rain, saw a large turnout and participation around Maria Hervàs square. This gathering took place in a context marked by upcoming educational mobilizations.
The day began at 10 AM with the Mostra de la Cançó, featuring the group Ramonets and the participation of schools from Marina Alta. Afterwards, a parade set off from Consell square, with the Muixeranga Segària and the MONTBLOC inclusive Batucada, marking the start of workshops by schools and entities.
Despite the date change, Marina Alta responded with massive attendance, similar to last year. The atmosphere was festive, and numerous expressions of support for the teaching community were shown, culminating in a concert that energized the entire Trobada.

"The Trobades are a celebration, but they are also a space for protest; we build community and defend our rights. Therefore, from here we also encourage participation in the indefinite educational strike that begins tomorrow; defending the language and public school is also educating. We will see you at the demonstrations on the 11th and 15th."

the vice president of Escola Valenciana

"Language is not a decorative element: it is a right, cohesion, and future. That is why today we celebrate, but we also organize. We make a clear call: let's participate in the indefinite educational strike. The situation is unsustainable: to the cuts, vetoes, and abusive minimum service proposals, we now have to add the partisan message that the counselor has sent to families by email. Faced with this misgovernance, we must defend a quality public school, with resources and in Valencian."
