The company Trans-Asistencia de la Chica, awarded the public service for the storage of vehicles seized by judicial bodies in the Valencian Community, will inaugurate the Valpark business park, located in the Valencian town of Vallada. This occurs 22 years after the initiation of the project for an industrial estate spanning 718,000 square meters, situated 75 kilometers from València.
The Vallada City Council has reported the signing of the contract with the company, considering it "a decisive step forward in the economic development of the municipality." According to the council, "after years of constant work, rigorous management to order its legal situation, and the resolution of complex urban planning issues, Valpark is now an operational reality".
The Valpark business park was initiated in 2004, but the 2007 real estate crisis paralyzed its development for over a decade, leaving the Vallada City Council with significant debt.
Only 35% developed, the town council began an unblocking process years ago with the help of the Generalitat, which culminated in 2025 with the administrative reactivation of the park. The mayor, María José Tortosa, highlighted the institutional effort to transform the municipality and turn Valpark's land into a "real opportunity for prosperity, wealth, and future".
The agreement involves the lease of a 100,000 square meter area. This contract is formalized under a provisional use license, as the sector is undergoing urban transformation. This arrangement allows the company to begin its vehicle storage and custody operations without the land yet having the technical status of a building plot.
The tenant company will assume full responsibility for the necessary works for its activity, including clearing, topographical surveys, perimeter fencing construction, and future dismantling of facilities. The City Council reserves the right to reclaim the plot with just three months' notice.
The project includes hiring five security personnel, whom the company will attempt to recruit locally in Vallada, and three truck drivers.
