Three fire crews from the Xàtiva station, with the collaboration of volunteer firefighters from Vallada and the sergeant from Alzira, were mobilized to the scene. A unit of forest firefighters from the Generalitat Valenciana also participated in the extinction efforts.

The fire completely incinerated a semi-trailer carrying various materials, as well as a small portion of vegetation in the vicinity of the affected heavy vehicle. The incident disrupted traffic on the road.
