Glòria Medina and Héctor Mollà Win BTT La Llosa de Ranes

The cyclist from Canals and the runner from Vallada claim victory in the women's and men's categories, respectively, in the third edition of the event.

Cyclist Glòria Medina from Canals and runner Héctor Mollà from Vallada have been crowned winners of the BTT La Llosa de Ranes March, which held its third edition last Sunday.

Glòria Medina Ortiz achieved victory in the women's category, completing the 33-kilometer course with 1000 meters of positive elevation gain in a time of 2 hours and 28 minutes. Meanwhile, Héctor Mollà López secured first place in the men's classification, with a time of 1 hour, 39 minutes, and 30 seconds.
The BTT La Llosa de Ranes March gathered over 250 cyclists. In the men's general classification, Fran Santamaría Boronat took second place and Alejandro Tebar Herreros came in third. In the women's category, silver went to Tamara Wagner and bronze to Sara Moreno Bisbal. In the E-bike category, Cristian Darocas Oliver was first in the men's and Sonia Álvarez in the women's.
The mountain biking event took place in the municipality of La Costera, featuring a route known for its numerous paths and trails among pine trees. Participants arrived at the finish line covered in mud due to the previous days' rain, but with great satisfaction. Cyclists highlighted the collaboration of the people of La Costera in organizing the event, which celebrated its third edition in 2026.
The La Llosa de Ranes City Council has congratulated the winners and expressed its gratitude to the participants, as well as to the organization, volunteers, Local Police, Civil Protection, and all individuals who made the sporting event possible.
