The educational center in Xàtiva, CEIP Taquígraf Martí, has achieved a double success at the 2026 Tirant Avant Festival, where it received the Audience Award and the Educational Inclusion Award. These accolades recognize their audiovisual project "My Place in the World," presented at this event that promotes audiovisual creation in Valencian among students.
The Audience Award was granted through an open vote via the festival's official channel, highlighting the project's connection with the public. Meanwhile, the Educational Inclusion Award recognizes projects that promote the participation of all students, respect for diversity, and the building of a fairer and more cohesive school.
This double recognition is the result of collaborative work by 5-year-old students and reflects the center's values: educational innovation, inclusion, creativity, and commitment to its own language and culture. The initiative included dubbing workshops for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders, as well as radio training for teachers.
The CEIP Taquígraf Martí has expressed gratitude for the "support received from the entire educational community and those who participated in the voting," as well as for the festival organization's efforts. The award ceremony will be held remotely due to the ongoing teachers' strike.
The school emphasizes that these awards represent an "important recognition of the daily work carried out at the center" and reinforce the conviction that "inclusive, participatory, and territorially rooted education is the best tool for forming critical, creative, and socially committed citizens."
