The situation of the fire declared in an industrial warehouse in Xàtiva is «absolutely under control», according to the City Council, which has lifted preventive recommendations.

The capital of La Costera is returning to normality after emergency services managed to reduce the intensity of the fire that started yesterday in a warehouse containing hydromassage bathtubs and plastic components. The dense column of black smoke generated has significantly decreased in intensity.
Favorable weather conditions, with the wind moving the smoke eastward and away from populated areas, have ensured there is no risk to public health. Following this improvement, the council has officially lifted all preventive recommendations, such as confinement or closing windows.
The CV-645 road has been reopened to traffic, although caution is advised when passing near the industrial zone. The Provincial Consortium of Firefighters of Valencia has reduced its deployed crews but will maintain a surveillance team to prevent potential flare-ups.
The City Council has expressed gratitude for the «collaboration, responsibility, and exemplary behavior» of the citizens. Residents are asked to avoid unnecessary travel to the affected area to facilitate the ongoing tasks of damage assessment and removal of fire-affected materials.
