The Valencian band Sva-ters is returning to the stage for a single concert in Alcàsser on May 9, as part of the Mercarock festival, after the initial date was postponed due to heavy rain.

The band, originally from Alcàsser, disbanded in 2019, leaving behind a career spanning over 20 years and four albums: A foc (2002), Berlangastyle (2006), Sexe, Putxero i Rock & Roll (2011), and Simis (2016). This one-off return takes place within the framework of the 30th edition of Mercarock.
The festival, held annually in Alcàsser, has historically featured numerous Valencian bands, such as Obrint Pas and Bajoqueta Rock, as well as national acts like Barón Rojo and Tachenko. The Falla del Mercat is the organizing entity behind this musical event.

"This year is not just any edition, as it is the 30th, and this year Sva-ters will reunite to perform a single concert in the place where they feel at home, that is, at the Falla del Mercat (organizer of Mercarock)."

a festival spokesperson
This concert will be a special occasion for the band members, who will perform in front of their children, now older and aware of their parents' musical journey. However, the festival's statement clarifies that this reunion will not be continuous, as it is a single performance, serving as a brief interlude in their retirement.
