This already established program reaffirms the council's commitment to public policies for conciliation, co-responsibility, childhood, adolescence, educational leisure, and family support during non-school periods. The City Council will invest one million euros over four years, with 250,000 euros allocated for this year and the next three, to offer holiday schools and various programs throughout the year.
The increase in municipal budgets, with the aim of guaranteeing a service with social and quality criteria, will result in a saving of more than 25% for families compared to previous years. Furthermore, the number of places offered in urban camps will be expanded, reaching 200 per week.
Regarding sports offerings, the Campus Esportiu provides 150 weekly places, the Summer Camp 120 weekly places, and the Campus Esportiu Adolescent 25 places for a two-week activity. In addition, there will be five other camps with over 150 children in disciplines such as football, athletics, rhythmic gymnastics, volleyball, and skating.
The 'Quart a l'estiu' program will run from June 23 to July 31 in various locations across the municipality. As a novelty, this summer there will also be an Urban Camp at CEIP Sant Onofre, joining the facilities of CEIP Molí d'Animeta, CEIP La Constitució, CEIP Maria Moliner, Quart Jove, the sports complex, CJ Barranquet, and La Cebollera. All proposals are organized weekly, allowing registrations to be adapted to family needs.
Registrations will be available online from May 11 to May 22 for students enrolled or registered in Quart de Poblet. Subsequently, from May 28 to June 5, general registrations will open until places are filled.
