The return of La Gossa Sorda, the band from Pego, was a highly anticipated date for many of their fans. After a decade of silence, the group announced a series of concerts that began yesterday in Picassent, in front of a completely dedicated audience of 15,000 people.
During the performance, the band's most iconic songs were played, including their signature track, Camals Mullats. The moment when the crowd enthusiastically hummed the famous «T’estimo, t’estime, t’estim» became one of the most emotional highlights of the night.
“"If there's one thing we've always been clear about in La Gossa Sorda, it's that we will never deny our roots!"
The concert also had a clear protest component, a distinctive mark of the band. The singer, Josep Nadal, took the opportunity to defend Valencian agriculture, stating: «I am the son of farmers. Let's say it loud and clear: long live the struggle of the people of the countryside!».
For today, April 25, 2026, a new performance is scheduled in Picassent. The show will start a little later than yesterday, to allow attendees to participate in the Vint-i-cinc d’Abril demonstration in València. Opening act Jazzwoman will begin at 8:55 PM, and La Gossa Sorda will perform around 10:15 PM. The party will continue with DJ Nonai Sound until 3:00 AM.
This series of concerts, which includes festivals and three major self-managed concerts in Picassent, Cunit, and Felanitx, does not represent a new chapter for the band. According to Josep Nadal, it is an opportunity to «greet» the public again before putting away their guitars, with no plans for more concerts in the near future.
