Civil Guard agents proceeded to arrest a man in the Valencian town of Beniparrell after he was stopped at a routine checkpoint. During the search of his vehicle, officers discovered he was carrying four bottles of nitrous oxide, popularly known as ‘laughing gas’.
In addition to the four bottles of nitrous oxide seized from inside the car, the Benemérita agents found a notable amount of cash. Specifically, the detainee was carrying a total of 2,510 euros in cash.
According to a statement released by the Benemérita itself, the discovery and subsequent arrest occurred flagrantly while the agents were conducting a control operation within the municipal boundaries of this town in the L’Horta Sud region.
