Several crews from the Valencia Provincial Fire Consortium and units from the Generalitat Valenciana intervened this Sunday to extinguish a vegetation fire declared in the municipality of Alboraia.

The alert was received around 15:30. At that moment, the extinction protocol was immediately activated to prevent the fire from spreading through the rural surroundings of the town.
Thanks to the rapid intervention of the deployed personnel, the fire was declared under control at 17:30. After stabilizing the perimeter, emergency teams remained in the area performing cooling tasks to secure the ground and prevent any reactivation.
The operation involved crews from the La Pobla de Farnals station, the Burjassot station, as well as the sergeant from the Paterna station and the Consortium's forest coordinator. Additionally, direct support was provided by the Generalitat Valenciana forest firefighters.
So far, no personal injuries or damage to nearby infrastructure or homes have been reported. The causes that originated the flames remain under investigation.
