The Valencian startup Wazoo Mobility, currently part of Lanzadera's acceleration program, aims to become the 'Airbnb for cars' with its peer-to-peer 'carsharing' platform.

The platform connects owners with underutilized cars to people who need a vehicle for a few hours or days. Owners list their car on the App, decide when they want to offer it, and earn extra income.
Drivers, on the other hand, book directly from their mobile, pick up the keys from the owner, and enjoy the vehicle in a "flexible, secure way, without depending on traditional rental offices," according to company sources.
Wazoo focuses on a 100% digital experience, including identity verification, app-based management, and coverage from an insurance partner for each rental.
The pilot test is already active in València, particularly in university and tourist areas such as Tarongers, Blasco Ibáñez, Ruzafa, and Ciutat Vella, where there is high demand for occasional mobility from students, young professionals, and visitors.

"We were born in Valencia and we want to demonstrate here, first, that another mobility model is possible. There are thousands of cars idle most of the time and, at the same time, many people who need a vehicle occasionally, so we connect both parties in a simple and secure way."

Eduardo Pina Murguía · Founder and CEO of Wazoo

"Anyone can access a car without needing to buy one. Meanwhile, we help owners turn idle expenses into a source of income; that is the true potential of the sharing economy."
