The VII Volta a Peu Runners Ciutat de València, scheduled for Sunday, June 14th, will mark the summer break for the XXI Caixa Popular Popular Race Circuit, serving as the penultimate event on the calendar.

The race, organized by the Municipal Sports Foundation and the Runners Ciutat de València Club, has been rescheduled to 8:30 AM to ensure participant safety against potential heat conditions. This homologated 5k route will traverse the streets of the Mestalla neighborhood, with the start and finish line on Avenida Aragón, near the football stadium.
Registrations will remain open until Thursday, June 11th. In addition to the competitive category, the event includes races for under-14s and the non-competitive ‘A tu ritmo’ (At your own pace) category. To date, over 1,200 people have registered for the main race, joined by 425 in ‘A tu ritmo’ and 25 in the youth categories.

The proximity of summer has led to the race start being rescheduled to 8:30 AM to ensure participant safety against potential adverse weather conditions due to heat.

Race bibs can be collected in advance at the Intersport store in the Ademuz Commercial Park on Friday, June 12th (from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM) and Saturday, June 13th (from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM). On race day, bibs can be collected 90 minutes before the start.
Last year, over 5,500 runners participated in a rain-affected race, won by Alejandro Ortuño and María Ureña.
After the summer break, the circuit will resume in September with the final two events: the XLVIII Volta a Peu als Barris de Sant Marcel·lí i Sant Isidre (September 20th) and the XVI Volta a Peu de les Falles (October 4th), which will conclude the current edition.
