The Santo Tomás de Villanueva-Padres Agustinos School in Valencia hosted a moving reunion for former students from the graduating classes of 25, 50, and 60 years ago on June 6th.

The event, organized by the Valencian Association of Augustinian Alumni (AVEA), began with a mass held in the school's covered courtyard. Afterward, insignia were presented to the former students, and speeches representing each graduating class were delivered.
Valencian singer and composer Paco Sanz, also an alumnus of the school, enlivened the day with a musical performance. Sanz performed a Spanish adaptation of the classic 'Yesterday' by The Beatles. The celebration also included an appetizer and a photographic exhibition showcasing moments from the three graduating classes over the years.
One of the day's highlights was recalling the historical fact that the current Pope Leo XIV, who is on an official visit to Spain, visited this very Valencian school in October 2023, when he was still serving as an Augustinian prior.
