The alert mobilized personnel from the Plana Baixa and L’Alcalatén fire stations, as well as the Mountain Rescue Unit (URM) team. They traveled to the site to attend to the injured man and coordinate his evacuation.
Given the terrain's difficulty, specialists performed the extraction using a crane maneuver from the Generalitat's rescue helicopter. Once the operation was completed, the affected individual was directly evacuated to Castellón General Hospital.
As reported by the Provincial Firefighters Consortium, meteorological conditions influenced the operation's development. The presence of storms in the area prevented a safe ground transfer, leading to the decision to take the injured man directly to the hospital.
