València's L'Umbracle terrace will exceptionally postpone its opening on June 5th and 6th to ensure its activity does not interfere with potential acoustic measurements during the Festival de les Arts.

València's L'Umbracle terrace has announced it will exceptionally postpone its opening on June 5th and 6th. This decision is made to ensure its activity does not interfere with potential acoustic measurements during the Festival de les Arts.
The terrace will not open its doors until the conclusion of the concerts, scheduled for 1:00 AM. From that hour onwards, the venue will resume its usual service to the public.

"The measure responds to L'Umbracle's willingness to collaborate with the festival organization, the involved administrations, and the bodies responsible for acoustic control, facilitating that any measurement carried out during the event reflects exclusively the sound incidence derived from the festival's own activity."

The statement also highlights that L'Umbracle has been open since April 24th and has consistently adhered to the Municipal Ordinance for Protection against Acoustic Pollution of València. Furthermore, it has operated without incidents, respecting all acoustic measures and conditions set by both the València City Council and the City of Arts and Sciences (CACSA), while maintaining a constant commitment to neighborhood coexistence.
