The Ministry of Education has reported that the participation rate for the eleventh day of the indefinite strike in non-university public education in the Valencian Community was 22.98%. The figures indicate a slightly lower turnout compared to previous strike days.
By province, the strike participation was as follows: in Alicante, 23.45% of teachers joined the protest; in Castellón, it reached 23.95%; and in the Valencia region, the percentage stood at 22.29%.
Education officials and the unions that called for the indefinite strike (STEPV, CCOO PV, UGT-PV, and CSIF, with support from ANPE) met on Monday afternoon with the Minister of Education, Carmen Ortí. The meeting took place after the unions submitted their new agreement proposal in an attempt to end the protest.
