The initiative, published in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV) by the Directorate General for Universities, seeks to prevent students from dropping out due to financial reasons in the final stretch of their academic path. The call has a total budget of 180,000 euros.

It is aimed at students enrolled in universities within the Valencian University System, both public and private, and their affiliated centers, who have a maximum of 24 credits remaining to complete their degree. The grants will exclusively cover the cost of credits enrolled in a third or subsequent registration. For public universities, the scholarship will consist of an exemption from payment, while for private ones, an economic aid equivalent to the minimum public price will be granted.

This call does not include exemptions or aid for master's degrees, doctorates, or own university degrees. The award procedure will be based on competitive bidding, prioritizing students with up to 18 credits pending and their academic record's average grade. In case of a tie, equity criteria such as preference for the underrepresented gender in the degree and lower family income will be applied.

To access these scholarships, academic, economic, and residency requirements must be met, including being registered in the Valencian Community and not having been a previous beneficiary. Family income thresholds and asset limits are also established. The application period is one month from the publication date, ending on June 15th, and must be submitted electronically through the Generalitat's electronic headquarters.

In the 2024-2025 academic year call, the Generalitat awarded 95 scholarships (51 to female students and 44 to male students), highlighting the program's impact on equal access to the completion of university studies.
