The Second Vice-Presidency and Ministry of the Presidency, through the General Directorate of Sport, has announced grants totaling 220,000 euros to boost university sports in the Valencian Community.

The main objective of these subsidies is to promote sports practice among university students and to support organizational expenses, as well as those derived from the participation of teams in the CADU 2025-2026 competitions. The Generalitat has reported on this initiative through a statement.
In the last edition of the Autonomous University Sports Championship, nearly 4,000 students from Valencian universities participated in 34 different disciplines, demonstrating the interest and vitality of sports in the academic field.
