Generalitat to Announce IRPF Tax Cut for Middle and Low Incomes

Conseller Rovira confirms the fiscal measure to be implemented soon, a prior condition for the budget.

Conseller of Economy, José Antonio Rovira, announced that a reduction in IRPF for middle and low incomes in the Valencian Community will be presented on Monday.

The Conseller of Economy, Finance and Public Administration, José Antonio Rovira, announced this Friday that the Valencian Government will present a reduction in the Personal Income Tax (IRPF) rates this Monday, "especially for middle and low incomes".
Rovira recalled that since the PP took office at the Palau de la Generalitat in 2023, the Inheritance and Gift Tax, the Wealth Tax, and the Property Transfer Tax have been reduced — a 10% to 9% cut will take effect on Monday, June 1st — and IRPF has been subsidized for middle and low incomes.
The new measure to be presented on Monday is the reduction of IRPF rates also for middle and low incomes, a measure that had been demanded by Vox for the 2026 Budget agreement.
