The Diari Oficial de la Generalitat Valenciana has published the appointment of the 2024 Fallera Mayor of Valencia as temporary staff with duties as an advisor on general affairs in the Second Vice Presidency and Regional Ministry of Presidency.

The resolution, dated May 19, formalizes the incorporation of this figure into the regional structure. According to the official text, the position falls under current regulations regarding public service and temporary positions serving the Valencian administration.
The appointment, which includes remuneration corresponding to the C2 category, will take effect from next Monday, May 25, 2026. This designation responds to the trust and advisory functions permitted by law for this type of position within the Consell.
With this incorporation, the trend continues of prominent figures from the Fallas world who, after representing the festival, move on to occupy responsibilities in the institutional sphere. In recent years, other former representatives have made the leap into local and regional politics, consolidating a common relationship between festive public projection and management in Valencian institutions.
