Valencia's Department of Family, Youth and Childhood will launch a language immersion program in Ireland this summer for young residents, students, or workers in the city, born in 2008 and 2009. This initiative, part of the Summer Youth 2026 program, offers a unique opportunity to improve English skills and experience formative and cultural activities abroad.
The application period opens this Tuesday, June 9th, at 9:00 AM via the Youth website, and will remain open until June 13th at 11:00 PM. Councilor Mónica Gil highlighted, “For the first time, we are incorporating an international experience into the summer program that will allow young people from Valencia to perfect their English in a real environment, combining training, coexistence, and personal growth”.
The program will run from July 8th to July 22nd in Dublin, featuring a full two-week stay. Participants will be hosted by Irish families with full board. They will receive 15 hours of English training per week in small groups at the ISE Ireland educational center, which specializes in teaching international students.
In addition to classes, the stay will include cultural activities, excursions to emblematic sites such as Dublin Castle or the National Gallery, group dynamics, transportation, travel insurance, and medical assistance, with constant supervision from monitors.
The program offers 15 places, which will be allocated by public lottery if applications exceed the available spots. The provisional list will be published on June 15th, and the draw will take place on June 17th at 9:00 AM at Espai Jove VLC (Campoamor street, 91), and can also be followed live on Instagram.
