Mallorcan forward Helena Pueyo has become the first signing for the new Valencia Basket. Pueyo has signed with the 'taronja' club for two seasons, after playing the last two years with Zaragoza.

Pueyo thus joins Leticia Romero, Raquel Carrera, Elena Buenavida, and María Araújo, as players under contract with the club. They are joined by Alicia Flórez, who will return to the 'taronja' team after her loan to Ensino Lugo, and also Marta Suárez, who is expected to be one of the next signings announced.

The other major change for the team will be on the bench, after it was made official that Rubén Burgos will step down as coach to take on a role within the sporting structure.
