Firefighters from the Provincial Consortium of Valencia acted promptly this Saturday to control an industrial fire at a vehicle recycling plant in Sagunt, preventing the flames from spreading to nearby facilities along the V-23.

The alert was received at 10:58 AM, mobilizing a large emergency response. The fire affected a conveyor belt and one of the sectorized piles of vehicles stored at the plant, which had been impacted by the DANA.
Thanks to the rapid action of the personnel, the fire was brought under control quickly, preventing its spread to the rest of the facility. Four fire crews from Sagunt and Paterna participated in the extinguishing efforts, along with a sergeant and an officer.
Operations have concluded with no injuries reported. On the same Saturday, April 25, at noon, firefighters also intervened in another industrial fire at a cork manufacturing warehouse in Bonrepòs i Mirambell, which was also controlled without major damage.
