Espaitec, the science park of Universitat Jaume I, has announced the twelve selected companies for the 14th edition of the Castellón Global Program, an initiative developed with the Diputación de Castellón to boost business innovation in the province.

Twelve companies will participate in the fourteenth edition of the Castellón Global Program, organized by Espaitec, the Science and Technology Park of the Universitat Jaume I of Castelló, together with the Diputación de Castellón. The main objective of this initiative is to promote innovation as a driver of growth and competitiveness for businesses in the province.
The inaugural event was attended by Marisa Flor, Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Universitat Jaume I; Vicente Pallarés, Provincial Deputy for Economic Promotion; and Juan Antonio Bertolín, Director of Espaitec. Flor highlighted that this year's selection "reflects the richness of our business fabric, where the dynamism of startups coexists with the experience of consolidated firms undergoing generational change." She also emphasized that "innovation is spreading throughout the province, as it manages to bring together companies from six different regions in a single edition."
For his part, Pallarés stressed the program's consolidation as "one of the main instruments for supporting business growth in our province" after more than a decade. He described the selected companies as "a magnificent representation of our province's economic diversity," and asserted that "we have a vibrant, dynamic business sector committed to the future of our land, and the twelve companies starting this program today are the best example."
Bertolín explained that the Castellón Global Program "is much more than a training program; it is an accompaniment experience where each company allows itself to ask the important questions." He emphasized the mentor's role as "the indispensable companion" on this transformative journey, helping companies find clarity beyond their comfort zone.
Representatives from the training and mentoring team, composed of about ten professionals specialized in various areas of the business value chain, also participated in the presentation event.
This year's selection includes seven emerging companies: Fable.xyz, FDS Projects, Hirameki, Niu Studio Disseny Creatiu, Pastor d'Abelles, Licora, and Sporttyre. Additionally, three consolidated firms undergoing innovation are joining: Absentia, FVR-PRO, and Vitale, along with two family companies undergoing generational change: Casa Roque and Recambios Alcora.
The selected companies operate in sectors such as hospitality, design, engineering, services, education, food, and automotive. They come from seven municipalities in the province of Castellón, including both inland and coastal towns such as Castelló, Betxí, Morella, Les Alqueries, Villamalur, L'Alcora, and Sant Mateu.
