The Municipal Transport Company of Valencia has activated its special summer mobility plan, offering over 13 million seats to connect the city with the coastline.

The Municipal Transport Company (EMT) of Valencia has launched its special mobility plan for the summer season, featuring a global provision of over 13 million seats on the urban bus network. This summer campaign involves technical and structural reinforcement of a total of 12 public network lines, specifically aimed at meeting the increased demand for travel to the city's waterfront and beaches.
The transport service optimization plan includes significant increases in vehicle frequencies and strategic modifications to the usual routes of certain lines to expedite access to coastal areas. The goal of this deployment is to encourage the use of public collective transport over private vehicles, ensuring fluid, sustainable, and efficient connectivity during months with high user and tourist influx.
The 12 lines included in the special plan have been redesigned to offer comprehensive coverage, directly linking the capital's various districts and neighborhoods with peri-urban and metropolitan beaches. By activating this operation, EMT Valencia adapts its capacity to seasonal mobility patterns and strengthens essential public service infrastructure for the holiday period.
