Teachers in the Valencian Community are starting today the third week of an indefinite strike, with a planned schedule of mobilizations while a new negotiation table with the Ministry of Education remains unconfirmed.

Unions and teacher assemblies have published a new schedule of mobilizations for this week, including concentrations at Education administrative offices on Monday, decentralized actions on Tuesday, a unified demonstration in València on Wednesday, and bike rides and leaflet distribution on Thursday. On Friday, assemblies will be held in educational centers to decide on the continuation of the protest if the conflict remains stalled.
Tomorrow, the union organizations will deliver a new unified proposal to the minister Carmen Ortí. The document will be a more detailed version of the one presented so far, but, at present, there is no official call to resume negotiations. Unions hope that the parties can reconvene as early as Monday, although they admit there are no guarantees that the meeting will be convened.
Unions insist that street pressure is, for now, the only language the administration listens to. They warn that, if a new negotiating table is finally convened, they will hold concentrations in front of the ministry on the same day of the meeting.
The mobilization schedule planned for this week includes concentrations on Monday in València (10:00 AM in front of the ministry, on Campanar avenue), Alicante (12:00 PM in front of the Territorial Directorate, Jorge Juan street), Elche (10:30 AM in Algeps Square), and Castellón (11:00 AM in front of the Territorial Directorate, Mar avenue, 23).
The central moment of the week will be Wednesday, with a new unified demonstration in València called for 11:00 AM. The protest follows massive mobilizations in recent days, especially Saturday's, which according to organizers gathered more than 30,000 and 35,000 people respectively. Another concentration has also been called in Castellón.
