The women's team of Diputación de València has been crowned champion of the European Club Cup, held in Castellón, while the men's team of Platges de Castelló secured second place.

Sporting Clube de Portugal and Diputación de València have claimed victory in the European Club Cup, men's and women's categories respectively, at the Gaetà Huguet track in Castelló. Both teams reaffirmed their dominance throughout Sunday's events, securing the title seven years after its last celebration.
The athletes from Diputación de València have won their third European club title, following a hard-fought competition against Sporting Clube de Portugal. The Valencian team amassed 222 points, narrowly beating the Portuguese team's 217.
The battle for the lower podium positions was intense, featuring a strong duel between Turkey's Enka Sports Club and FACSA Platges de Castelló, who were making their debut in the continental competition as the host team. The Castellón-based squad, supported by their home crowd, staged a remarkable comeback to secure third place, surpassing the Ottoman team.
In the men's competition, the title and podium positions were decided in the final races. FACSA Platges de Castelló, the tournament's host and hampered by significant international absences, delivered a strong performance. Victories by Diego Casas, Juan Luis Bravo, Rafa Mahíques, Daniel Cisneros, José Ignacio Pérez, second places from Pablo Torrijos and Rodrigue Kiwizera, a third in the 4x100 relay, and fourth place for Alejandro Ortuño were crucial for their second-place finish.
The Castellón athletes not only neutralized the Turkish club's potential but also challenged the tournament favorite, Sporting Clube de Portugal. Ultimately, the Portuguese team secured the title with 194 points, while the Spanish team finished second with 189.5, just one point ahead of Turkey's Enka Sports Club.
