The València General Cemetery now features a memorial space dedicated to gestational, perinatal, and neonatal grief, located in section 11. The initiative was funded by NUBESMA, the Association for Support of Gestational and Neonatal Grief in València.

This new memorial space aims to give visibility to gestational, perinatal, and neonatal grief, offering a dignified and respectful place for affected families to process a sorrow that often remains socially silenced.
The creation of this space was made possible by the València City Council, which ceded the land, and the funding from NUBESMA, an association that supports families who have lost a baby during gestation, childbirth, or shortly after birth.

Our objective is to offer a dignified and respectful place where affected families can experience a grief that often remains socially silenced.

The presentation of the memorial space was attended by the Councilor for Cemeteries and Funeral Services, Carlos Mundina.
