The Festival de Les Arts has confirmed the cancellation of its second day, scheduled for this Saturday, after receiving a refusal from the Valencia City Council and the General Directorate of the City of Arts and Sciences (CACSA).

The Festival de Les Arts will not take place this Saturday on its second day, as confirmed by the festival through its social media channels. The decision comes after receiving a refusal from the Valencia City Council and the General Directorate of the City of Arts and Sciences (CACSA) to continue with the event.
"We have worked until the last moment to avoid reaching this situation. However, we have received communication from the General Directorate of CACSA stating that we cannot hold the second day of the Festival de Les Arts twenty minutes before the scheduled opening time for the public," they officially communicated. The news arrives less than an hour and a half before the day's opening concert.
The organization will proceed with the full refund of the remaining balance on wristbands and the ticket price for Saturday, as well as 50% of all types of season tickets (General, VIP, and Golden VIP). The first day was already marked by public discontent due to the low volume of the music, which was kept below 85 decibels to comply with acoustic regulations.
The festival regretted that, despite the efforts made by the organization, artists, technical teams, suppliers, and sponsors, this has been the outcome. They pointed out that they maintained two parallel lines of work to ensure the event's celebration, including seeking alternative venues such as La Marina de València or the Ricardo Tormo Circuit, and that they were unable to hold a meeting with the Mayor of Valencia to discuss alternatives.
The organization highlighted the festival's importance to Valencia's cultural life for over a decade, generating cultural richness, economic impact, and employment. "We continue to believe that culture must have a space in Valencia," they stated, showing their commitment to the city and its cultural fabric, and hoping to reunite soon.
