The Festival de les Arts has cancelled the second day scheduled for this Saturday at the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia, due to the violation of current acoustic regulations.

The decision comes after the Valencia City Council and the City of Arts and Sciences (Cacsa) notified the suspension of the activity. This measure follows a ruling from March 25th that condemned the local government for violating fundamental rights due to noise pollution in the area.
According to Local Police reports, sound measurements taken during Friday's sessions exceeded permitted limits, reaching up to 96 decibels on one of the stages, while the established maximum was 80 decibels.
The festival management expressed regret over the situation and stated that the cancellation was not voluntary. They have also announced that they will proceed with full refunds for day tickets and wristband balances, as well as 50% of the cost of season passes.
The mayor of Valencia defended the need to comply with the judicial resolution, while the promoter criticized the lack of communication from institutions to find alternatives that would have allowed the event to proceed.
