A national police officer has been injured in the arm and two ultras have been identified with flares and smoke bombs following a brawl near Mestalla stadium before the Valencia CF vs. FC Barcelona match.

The bar area near Avenida Suecia, where the Valencia team bus arrived, became the scene of confrontations. A large group of fans, many of them young and chanting with Nazi symbolism, began throwing objects such as bottles, terrace chairs, and glasses at officers from the mounted unit and riot police.
Police officers had to retreat momentarily to regroup and await reinforcements from the security detail. Subsequently, with riot police in the front line and cavalry behind them, they advanced to disperse the radicals.
