The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has issued a yellow alert (danger) for Thursday on the coast of Valencia province due to maximum temperatures of 36 degrees Celsius. The agency warned on social media that "it is likely that in some locations the maximums will be close to 39." The alert will be in effect between 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM.

Furthermore, Aemet has warned of the risk of forest fires associated with the westerly wind, which will bring a situation of high temperatures and very low humidity to the Valencian Community. These conditions have led the Generalitat's Emergency Coordination Centre to activate the maximum level of wildfire risk throughout the province of Alicante and the interior of Valencia.

For the interior of Castellón, a yellow alert has also been issued for rainfall that could accumulate 20 l/m² in one hour, between 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM, with a probability of 40% to 70%. In that same area, both the northern and southern interiors, yellow alerts have been activated for storms during the same time frame.

Regarding the wind, Aemet has established a yellow alert for maximum gusts of up to 80 km/h from the northwest in the interior of Castellón province, which will be in effect from 6:00 PM this Friday until midnight.
