The L'Alcora City Council will execute an investment of 70,000 euros this year to expand and improve the outdoor sports facilities of the municipal sports city.

The actions include the construction of a pumptrack circuit, budgeted at 50,000 euros, intended for wheeled sports such as cycling, scootering, or skateboarding. Alongside this infrastructure, the current tennis court will be renovated with an investment of 20,000 euros, including the replacement of the surface with artificial turf and the renewal of nets and equipment.
These works are part of the municipal investment plan 'l'Alcora Creix', endowed with 5.5 million euros. The objective is to connect these spaces with new facilities planned to create a continuous area for outdoor sports and leisure, optimizing the use of the area.
Within the same plan, the council is also working on the comprehensive renovation of the indoor swimming pool (275,000 euros, currently out to tender), the acquisition of new covers for the multifunctional pavilion (40,000 euros), and improvements to the municipal shooting range (23,000 euros).
