Young Diego Gómez from L'Alcora experienced a memorable night on La Voz Kids. After receiving a second chance in his first appearance, he returned to the stage determined to showcase his talent. This time, his rendition of 'Limosna de amores' captivated all four celebrity coaches.
The performance was filled with emotion and confidence. Luis Fonsi was the first to press his button, followed by Antonio Orozco, who was visibly moved upon recognizing the contestant. Later, Ana Mena and Edurne also showed their support, securing full approval from the judging panel.
After receiving praise, Diego had to choose which coach he wanted to continue with in the competition. He ultimately opted for Antonio Orozco, a renowned Spanish singer and songwriter. Orozco presented him with the symbol signifying his joining the team for the upcoming stages of the show.
The performance held special significance, as the judges had granted him a second chance just two weeks prior, highlighting his potential. Diego not only seized this opportunity but also confirmed his talent and powerful voice, serving as an example of second chances.
For Diego, reaching La Voz Kids after passing auditions in Valencia and Madrid represents the fulfillment of a dream. This is his first time participating in such a competition, having previously performed in auditions at the L'Alcora Music School and sung saetas with the Hermandad del Santísimo Cristo del Calvario.
His musical passion is extensive, as Diego plays the trumpet, piano, guitar, and drums. He states he is living a dream and emphasizes the joy of meeting wonderful people during the program.
